Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in
Houston, Texas on September 4 in 1981. Tina Knowles-Lawsonis her mother creates
their glittering costumes. Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's managing

African as well as French and have ancestors in Louisiana and Canada. Beyonce
also descends 1/32 Irish and her maternal side is distant Breton-, Spanish-,
Indonesian-, and Chinese roots. The singer has been quoted as saying that she
began the stage show "Sasha" to overcome her shyness.
