Aisha Jamila Hinds was born in America, and is most well-known for her performance in The Shield. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has shown her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to attract her interest. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season.
